Open Reel Ensemble

Open Reel Ensemble¬†scratches four reel-to-reel analog tape recorders (as seen in the 1970’s). ¬†Never actually touching the tape decks, the quartet uses an iPhone to manipulate USB controllers and solenoids to create vibrato effects, creating a genre-defying, vintage-modern roller coaster of beats.
